Cognitive Behavior Therapy, or "CBT" for short, is one of my areas of specialty. CBT is a proven treatment for common issues like depression, stress, and anxiety. It is also helpful for individuals experiencing psychotic symptoms.
What is CBT? It is a type of treatment that has proven to be helpful with a number of issues, including depression and anxiety. CBT can help you to change how you think and what you do. These changes can help you to feel better. It focuses on the here and now instead of focusing on the causes of your distress or symptoms in the past. CBT helps you to improve your state of mind now.
I have also completed specialized training providing CBT treatment to individuals affected by psychosis. Please go to my CBT for Psychosis webpage for more information.
