Counselling is accomplished in a collaborative way, capitalizing on the strengths you already possess. I utilize a comprehensive approach to our work together, taking into account the biological, psychological, familial, social, situational, and cultural.
I view you as the expert in your own experience. I strive to understand your thoughts, feelings, and experiences from your point of view. We work together to make the desired changes you are hoping for.
In counselling, I provide a place where you can talk about your concerns or problems and find ways to resolve them. I strive to help you identify and explore concerns and problems, and develop strategies for overcoming them. My goal is for you to feel at ease, respected, and safe in our work together.
I provide a supportive, comfortable atmosphere. Clients describe me as accepting, warm and honest; they feel valued and respected.
